The Department of Electrical and Electronics was established in the year 2013 with the primary objective of imparting quality education and training in the various areas of Electrical and Electronics, thereby moulding the students into competent professionals. The department stands 12th in Kerala, in the Overall Result of  first batch of APJ Abdul Kalam Kerala Technological University . The department also got selected in the Publications and Project team of IEEE PES Young Professional Kerala Chapter  .  IEEE PES Student Branch Chapter of Marian Engineering College has been ranked fourth(2020) and ranked 7th (2021) in Region 10 and ranked globally in 11th position in the 2020  IEEE PES HPSBCP.
